When one door opens another one closes. As first time homebuyers, we were filled with hopes, dreams and anticipation. Both my husband and I are cosmopolitan and very well traveled. So moving to suburbia had to be the right fit in many ways. Right fit starts with the right real estate agent.

Finding the right real estate agent is kind of like a marriage. We dated a few, but there was no chemistry. Until one day we met Shonda. Upon meeting Shonda immediately there was chemistry. We felt she had our best interest at heart. It was love at first sight!

We loved the vibe of Asbury Park. We were determined to buy a house after many months and multiple contracts. Shonda worked relentlessly to determine our wants and needs. She is always positive, accommodating, and generous with both her time and knowledge. I guess you could say we were not easy, but rather, difficult and demanding. Already, this was a marriage made in heaven! You see, I always get what I want, and I got the house of my dreams.

Today, 10 years later, my life has changed tremendously, Shonda is still in my life, and for that I am grateful.

One door to my life has closed, my Teddy died the day I moved in, but, there are so many wonderful doors that have opened.

Today, and everyday, when I run down my staircase in the morning, I have this overwhelming happiness… that this house has given me, and continues to give me on a daily basis.

And I know, deep in my heart, if it wasn’t for Shonda, and her undeniable dedication, I would still be looking for the dream instead of living it……
