550 Cookman Ave, Asbury Park
Built in 1932, 550 Cookman Avenue is a shining example of Asbury Park’s art deco history. In restoring this unique building, careful consideration was taken with its original design features such as the clock tower, chandeliers, terrazzo flooring, marble wainscoting, and decorative coin patterns on the facade. Fully restored, the building now boasts eight storefronts and 31 residential units. All residential units have outdoor space and are either one- or two-bedroom duplexes or three-bedroom triplexes. Modern amenities—including a gym, laundry room, and elevator—are nestled into the historic detailing of the building. Pets okay pending noise test. One dog per unit.
As of this writing, the apartments at 550 Cookman Ave are rental-only.
